Kulai, Malaysia — Singapore-based agritech company Archisen has announced the successful launch of Malaysia’s largest high-tech vertical farm, in partnership with FarmByte, a digital agri-food company under the Johor Corporation.

This milestone project, located in Kulai, Johor, marks a significant expansion of Archisen’s urban farming footprint beyond Singapore and showcases its deep capabilities in Controlled-Environment Agriculture (CEA). The smart farm integrates precision agriculture, climate control systems, and data-driven automation to enable efficient, high-yield production of leafy greens with minimal resource input.

A New Standard in Urban Agriculture

The FarmByte-Archisen Smart Farm spans over [insert actual size, e.g., 20,000 sq ft], making it the largest vertical farm in Malaysia to date. It leverages Archisen’s proprietary farm management platform, allowing operators to monitor and control critical parameters — from light spectrum and temperature to nutrient flow and humidity — all in real-time. The result: faster growth cycles, higher yield consistency, and ultra-fresh produce.

This collaboration with FarmByte is a powerful validation of our vision — to build Asia’s most intelligent network of urban farms,” said Sven Yeo, Co-Founder and CTO of Archisen. “We’re proud to bring our technology to Malaysia and contribute to a more resilient and sustainable food future for the region.”

Supporting Food Security and Agri-Tech Innovation

The launch aligns with Malaysia’s National Agrofood Policy 2021–2030, which aims to modernize agriculture and enhance domestic food security. It also reflects a growing regional push to localize food production and reduce reliance on imports.

By deploying its vertically integrated farming solutions in Johor, Archisen is not only scaling its impact geographically, but also deepening cross-border collaboration in agritech innovation and sustainable food systems.
